Windsor · Private Chef

Windsor entertaining.
Exactly as
it should be.

Bespoke private dining for the finest homes near Windsor Great Park, along the Thames at Bray and Cookham, and across the Berkshire and Surrey border. Seasonal, considered, and done with complete care from first produce to final plate.

Windsor has always known
how to entertain.

The area around Windsor and the Great Park represents some of the most established private entertaining in England. The houses within reach of the park — in Old Windsor, Datchet, Englefield Green and the Thames-side villages — carry a particular sense of occasion. The proximity to the Royal estates, the Eton and Guards communities, the Ascot season and the Thames at its most beautiful between Bray and Cookham: this is a part of England that has always known how to entertain, and has always expected it to be done properly.

The social calendar here is distinctive. Ascot in June, Eton events throughout the summer half, the Thames at its best from May through September, Christmas and New Year in houses that were built to receive guests. The entertaining that surrounds all of this — the dinners before and after the big occasions, the weekend house parties that the season generates, the long summer lunches in gardens that face the river — is the kind that deserves a chef who understands what it is for.

Andrés travels to the Windsor area for clients who want their country entertaining to match the quality of the occasion. The produce is always the finest available — from his London network of specialist suppliers and, where possible, the exceptional local and Thames Valley producers that this part of Berkshire offers. The cooking is seasonal and precise. The service is invisible. The evening is yours.

Questions about hiring a
private chef in Notting Hill.

  • Andrés covers Windsor itself and the surrounding area — Old Windsor, Datchet, Englefield Green, Wraysbury, Bray, Cookham, Maidenhead, Eton and the villages along the Thames towards Marlow. Travel to adjacent parts of Berkshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire can be accommodated on request.
  • Yes. Ascot week is one of the busiest weeks of the year for private entertaining in this area, and Andrés plans ahead for it. The calendar of lunches, dinners and receptions that the week generates requires careful advance planning — it is worth making an enquiry several weeks ahead if you have specific dates in mind.
  • Yes. The Thames-side settings at Bray and Cookham, and the walled and riverside gardens of the larger houses in the area, are some of the finest outdoor entertaining environments in England. Andrés plans and manages outdoor events fully — adapting the menu and service logistics to the specific setting and the scale of the occasion.
  • Yes. The Eton calendar generates a significant number of family gatherings — Fourth of June, St Andrew's Day, half-term and end-of-term occasions — for which private entertaining at home is both common and natural. Andrés plans menus and service around the specific character of each occasion.
  • For season-specific occasions — Ascot week, Fourth of June — four to six weeks ahead is advisable. For other dinner parties and household arrangements, two to three weeks is usually sufficient. Andrés will always try to accommodate shorter notice when his schedule allows.
